Our story

Two strangers, one rainy platform in Paris

Henry missed his train to Lyon by thirty seconds. Charlotte missed hers by twenty. They shared a croissant, then a table, then the next six hours of conversation.

Five years later he asked her on the same platform, with the same croissant. Come and celebrate with us in the gardens of Varennes.

Finding your way to the château

Flying in

Lyon Saint-Exupéry is 90 minutes by car. Paris is two hours by fast train to Mâcon.

Where to stay

Rooms are held at Hôtel du Parc until 1 April. Mention our names for the group rate.

Getting around

Coaches run from Mâcon station and the hotel before and after every event.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation lists everyone we have saved a seat for. If your RSVP shows a guest line, you are welcome to bring someone.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but the evening celebrations are adults only.

What should I wear?

Each event card shows its dress code. When in doubt, dress up a little and bring comfortable shoes.

Can I change my reply later?
